Background: Our client is a manufacturer of portable buildings used mainly in public places, recreational facilities, golf courses, etc. The client found that they had several thousand potential customers nationwide and was constantly going through a very uncontrolled cycle of dealing with current prospects that had interest, but loosing track of relationships with clients contacts that could become clients. A large percentage of business was being missed by never getting the opportunity to present their products. Objective: Increase prospects awareness of products, and have a systematic method of keeping in contact with potential clients. Solution we proposed: 1) Designing a system within Goldmine Business Contact Manager to create an automated ‘prospect awareness program’ for potential prospects. 2) Creating a tracking system to manage the dissemination of information and follow up with ‘live prospects’. 3) Creating an online marketing program to create a new supply of interested prospects. 4) Tracking system for current proposal stages. Anthem Consulting designed a plan to implement all of these items using Goldmine as the base program. Results: The client was able to launch a new marketing campaign within one month of deployment and increased business by several orders over their projections for the first quarter. Contacts at the clients facilities have conveyed that they feel ‘much more control’ over their current business processes and are confident that it will increase the bottom line drastically in the first year after implementation.
